StuffIt: Your files' digital travel agent

Travel is a big part of a lot of people's lives. Whether it's for work or for fun (or maybe a combo of both), there are always a few hoops that need to be jumped through to get to your destination.

Tickets? Passport? Ride to the airport? Pet sitter? Even the most exciting trips can get bogged down with boring details.

Wouldn't it be awesome if we could just close our eyes and open them back up and be gazing at beautiful glaciers in Norway, sailing in the British Virgin Isles, or sipping beer in Germany for Oktoberfest?

That's what StuffIt Destinations, one of the new features in StuffIt Deluxe 2011 for Mac does for your files. It packs and sends them anywhere you want them to go, and you don’t need to worry about all the details along the way.

StuffIt DestinationsYou can create custom tiles too: Just choose a destination, a compression format type with or without encryption, and a notification option, then simply drag and drop a file onto one and it's off.

I know, you may be thinking Why would I want my files drinking beer in Munich? Well, perhaps you have awesome new music you want your best friend who went to Munich without you to hear. Drag the album onto the FTP tile on Destinations and it'll upload and then send an email to your friend if you so choose.

I would suggest using the SendStuffNow tile, but your friend is kind of a jerk for celebrating Oktoberfest without you, so you don't want to make it too easy, do you?

Check out all the new features in StuffIt Deluxe 2011 for Mac. It's evolved. And you can upgrade now from any version of StuffIt for $29.99, which includes 3 months of SendStuffNow service free!
