Serendipity is one of my favorite words: A happy accident or something agreeable not sought out. That's how this week's winner of the image contest came to make his self-portrait.
Paul Francis has been using Poser since about 1997 or so and is fortunate enough to write for a CG magazine occasionally. One of his assignments was to write a short guide to the Face Room in Poser.
"I'd NEVER used the Face Room before, but found it surprisingly easy and effective, and readily produced the illustrations for the article in time for the deadline. I always wanted to go back and refine both the model and the render I had created for the article, and the competition was the perfect excuse to start it again from scratch and produce a better version."
Very nicely done, Paul. You can see all of the submissions for this week's theme. Next week is the final week of the Poser Image Contest, with the theme of Best Representation of the 15 years of Poser.
You have until Sunday night to submit your work! Remember to include hat you are entering the blog contest of the week in the Additional Credit, Figures or
Content Shown field. We've all really enjoyed this five week image contest; thanks for all of your submissions so far!
