Manga Studio tunes in

Posted by Smith Micro Blogger on Jan 27, 2011 1:29:11 AM

Once in a while I run into someone who just makes sense to me, like we're tuned into the same brain radio station or something. A few people on this list you might know are Tom Robbins, Chuck Palahniuk and Manga Studio artist Akira The Don.

Akira The Don is a musician, comic artist and philanthropist, among other things. He spent an afternoon at Wimbeldon shopping center for The Big Draw with laptops, Wacom tablets and Manga Studio. The reaction?

"Old ladies were freaking out. Little kids were screaming with joy. People thought it was voodoo."

Nice. For more about the Don and his art (like the art they created at The Big Draw) read his artist profile. He compliments our marketing department (why thank you!) and is generally funny and well-written, which is a pattern for people tuned to my brain station ;) Check it!
