We are excited to congratulate the team at Cartoon Saloon for their Oscar nomination for Best Animated Film, Song of the Sea. Some vehicles and effects in this animated film were created in Moho (Anime Studio).

Based on the Irish legend of the Selkies, "Song of the Sea" tells the story of the last seal-child, Saoirse, and her brother Ben, who go on an epic journey to save the world of magic and discover the secrets of their past.

"Moho (Anime Studio) is dotted throughout Song of the Sea. We animated a lot of environmental elements, especially underwater scenes, where we did all the seaweed floating in Moho (Anime Studio). This lead us to animate five underwater scenes completely in Moho (Anime Studio). I found it a versatile animation tool which helped us achieve the final product."
