Sunshine in a bag with Poser Pro

Daylight Savings Time has thrown a lot of people for a loop. The people getting up at the crack of dawn now are waking up in the middle of the night. One of my coworkers went for a run at what amounted to 4:30 a.m. But on the bright side (quite literally), there is more sunlight in the evening. And while I've heard a few complaints, I'd like to say the general consensus is that it's pretty sweet to have the extra hour.

The extra sun has made me start craving the beach. I've also had Issue 11 of 3D Artist sitting on my desk open to the page with this image. Isn't it breath-taking? Jacob Charles Dietz is the artist, and he gives a step-by-step of how to recreate it using Vue Infinite, Photoshop, and Poser Pro. And I guess it's no surprise this image makes me think of the ocean; it was inspired by the artist's walks on the California coast. It's title? Laguna.
