Create characters (and childhood dreams) with Anime Studio

I have never heard a child say, "When I grow up, I want to be a stock analyst." And while many of us end up working at a job we never imagined as a kid, it's always cool to hear stories about the people that made their childhood dreams a reality.

Dale Hemenway always knew he wanted to be an animator. He grew up watching The Do It Yourself Film Animation Show, featuring Bob Godfrey. When he was 9, his parents bought him a Super 8 camera, and with it he made several short (and according to him, very bad) animated films using felt tipped pens on punched paper. He would grow up to teach animation, create commercials and work for 10 years on Bob the Builder.

Dale created this character, The Flea, for an extensive tutorial on how to create a character in Anime Studio. Check it out here. You can see more of Dale's animations at his YouTube channel.
