Growing up, my bedtime stories consisted mostly of Goodnight Moon and Shel Silverstein. I don't think I'm alone when I say Where the Wild Things Are scared the crap out of me. But they were all just illustrations on a page. At the end of the day, they only moved in my imagination.
Bedtime stories have taken a leap since I remember them. This video shows Little Bella, an interactive, animated book for the iPhone. I think my favorite scene is the monster who eats a refrigerator, magnets and all.
Little Bella has reached more than 25,000 downloads and hit No. 4 on the U.S. book charts. It was created with Anime Studio, and it's designed to be navigated completely by little ones. They'll be able to read and be fluent in iPhone before they hit kindergarten.
