Monday morning collaboration!

I'm not sure who said it first, but I'm a big believer in the concept of When all else fails, improvise. Uncertainty may make things a bit uncomfortable, but out of it comes great things and great art. (At least that's what I tell myself every time I sit down and have no idea what to write.)

This animation, Ballade by yaki, was made with Anime Studio and 3ds Max. Since the first time I watched it, I've been blown away by its style and message. What I couldn't get past was that there wasn't any sound in the background.

It dawned on me later that perhaps it was supposed to be silent. But if you the quiet makes you uncomfortable, I say improvise and collaborate with yaki: Add your own song!

Open your music player and sort your music by time. Find a song that's about 1:25 or so and push play it at the same time you watch Ballade. I chose Arcade Fire's "The Suburbs (Continued)." I thought it worked pretty well. What about you?
