Manga Studio sorts out 2011

When I was in school I really liked to organize things, which is why I was particularly fond of my planner. If I lost it, I was lost. Yep, I was one of those kids. So when ImagineFX asked us if we would like to put some images made with our software on their calendar, I was super-excited not only to get a great calendar, but to help in its creation.

When we went to look at some of our imagery for Manga Studio, I suggested this image for spring time, when all the bugs come back in full force. Plus, I think it's pretty amazing.

James Reekie has been using Manga Studio for a few years now, and he's created some really killer art with it. A lot of his illustrations are done for the BBC. Are you impressed? Because I am.

James also has a passion for music...really! He told me the names of his guitars weren't fit for print ;) And his chosen super-power would be teleportation. After experiencing jetlag a few times, I think I'll add that onto my list as well.

You can check out more of James' great illustrations and inspirations for his art by reading his artist profile. And you can get ImagineFX's calendar with his imagery in issue 64, which went on sale the 16th of this month. Thanks James for making my organization much more fun to look at!
