While not every one celebrates the holidays exactly the same (or celebrates exactly the same holiday) most everyone has an opinion: Some love them; others hate them. I'll be honest and say I've been on both sides.
The holidays can be a really dark time. If you're in the northern hemisphere, there's literally a lack of light. And if you don't have people to spend them with, that can make it especially hard.
This animation, done with Anime Studio, does a great job identifying that feeling and also reminding us how important it is to spend time with people we care about around this time of year.
This month, I've been talking a lot about giving. We're giving away a killer gift basket. And there's an opportunity to give your money to support a good cause. But if you just can't spare the cash, why not volunteer your time or just spend some time with someone who might be alone otherwise?
(It's easy as pie: Just Google volunteer opportunities to find some in your area.)
Regardless of your feelings about the holidays or whether you even celebrate any, volunteering is a great feeling that doesn't cost a dime. And the joy at the end of this animation totally illustrates it :D
